Game remakes for 3ds you will buy

Ok I can see there are a lot of games that are coming out of the 3ds that have already come out in counsel for like street fighters 4 and doa. So which game remake are you looking to play n the 3ds. Mine is doa because you can play with the control stick, control stick and touch screen, and even just play a whole fight with the touch screen only. Now for yours.

Not to be a downer but honestly probably none for me.
I have become a real stickler for remakes and all the other ways money is drained from us gamers.
- Selling unlocks for content already on the disc
- Extra characters, outfits, or content that normally would be gained through in-game challenges now having to be bought
- Spin-Offs...the biggest one being Kingdom Hearts. stop recycling and give us the sequels
- REMAKES!

I don't want Ocarina of Time on 3DS, I don't want Starfox 64 on 3DS or Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV. I want new games with new innovations. Or atleast sequels...give me a NEW Zelda...a NEW Resident Evil.....Then the 3DS would be a launch buy.

I'm kind of interested in the Starfox remake only because I missed out on it the first time around and I think a game like that would make a decent translation to 3D. I'm not honestly sure how I feel about the OoT remake though. Other than that I haven't really paid alot of attention to what is coming out remake wise.

Isn't Super Street Fight IV just a straight port of the current arcade/console game? I wasn't aware that they were remaking it.

The only remakes I know about that come to mind are Rayman, Ocarina of Time, and Star Fox. The Ocarina of Time remake looks amazing and is a certain buy, and I'd love a decent handheld port of Rayman 2 at long last so I'm interested.

I never liked Star Fox 64. I love the SuperNes game and things like the direction they took the music, the voice acting, and some of the gameplay turned me off of Star Fox 64 despite it excelling technically. Basically, the original Star Fox was a strange blend of animal flyers tasked with saving the world in an epic game with appropriate music and such. Star Fox 64 on the other hand felt like it took the fact that the pilots were animals and tailored everything else to match, such as the 5 year old sounding pilots, the corny dialog, etc.

So if I pick up Star Fox 64, it will be when it's cheap someday.

The only remake I'd be interested in is Cave Story 3D because other than Wiiware(did it ever release) we've never seen an official release. Cave Story is amazing though and even if I owned the original version on disc I'd still buy the remake. I don't care about any other 3DS rereleases.

I mostly agree with this. I wish game companies, especially Nintendo, would stop with all the remakes and start giving us more sequels. Even a more-of-the-same sequel is preferred to a remake.

That said, I'll likely pick up SSFIV and I'm a sucker for anything with the word Zelda on it.

I will say, also, that I give portable remakes some leeway. It'll be nice to have a portable version of SSFIV.

Cave Story is on the DSi, as a downloadable app. It's identical to the PC/MAC version for the most part. But yeah, I would buy it AGAIN in 3D cuz it's that good.

I'd also jump on any Metroid or Zelda remakes. Sega should also port over Space Harrier and any of the SMS games that used 3D glasses in a collection. I'd jump all over that. Heck, any of those Sega 16-bit arcade games (After Burner, Galaxy Force, Thunder Blade) might be kind of cool on the 3DS.

I haven't played it much since it came out, and I'd like to go through it again.

Halo and Madden?

I'd like to see a focus toward new stuff, but with the state of things as they are, I suspect that remakes are going to be pushed to cut down on cost and dev time.

A 3D port of Metroid Prime, Mario Galaxy (watch us get Sunshine or worse yet, Mario 64-3D...) or Resident Evil ReMake would probably spur me to go out there and buy both the system and the game ASAP.

I'm definitely getting the Starfox 64 and Ocarina of Time remakes. I also heard they might be making a Zelda 2 remake, which I would be interested in.

For me, it's Star Fox 64. Out of all the games (in their original releases), I've enjoyed it the most. That, and the secret boss defeat on Macbeth'll be worth it.

And as for other games for 3DS? Tempest in 3D. It'd make the game even better than it already is, IMO.

Halo and Madden?

Madden's already been confirmed as a launch title, hasn't it?

As for Halo, it's not entirely outside the realm of possibility. There were rumors a few years back about Microsoft approaching Nintendo for a Halo DS game. Now, these were completely unfounded, but we did see Microsoft allow Rare to make a Banjo Kazooie game for GBA. So if the planets aligned properly, who knows? I wouldn't count on it, though.
