    Default Stadium Events

Some of you surely already know about this, but I thought I'd throw up the link.

Sigh....already $20K...people simply love to throw away money, don't they?

More power to them, I guess.

The 10% donation of the final price of the auction sure has something to do with the current price .... and will grow much more for this alone

^^^True, but kind of reminds me of the entire "jjgames" fiasco.

I honestly can't see the appeal of the game, apart from the people who want to have a complete collection and have enough excess money to throw at such a venture like this game.

    Exactly.

With that amount of cash, I can buy a house, save for the future, and, if I wanted, build several complete CIB sets for different consoles!

I'm not a hardcore collector by any means, but I do have about 180 NES games towards a complete set. I'll probably finish up the collection in the next year or two and this is the one game that I'll be getting a repro of and calling it good (if I even go that far).

A repro? Just buy World Class Track Meet and be done with it. I can see why someone might want an actual cart to complete a collection, but making a bootleg of it just seems pointless.

If I had a factory sealed copy of Stadium Events I would have gotten it graded as well. It raises your return investment significantly.

I'm only 13 games away from a complete US NES collection. Auctions like this one are very discouraging. I just have to keep hoping I'll find some of the super-rares in a yard sale somewhere, or that someone will bring them into my store to trade not knowing what they are.
I only need 2 more NES games (US)!

This is insane. Did NES collectors become doctors and lawyers and hollywood agents in the past few years? That price is mind blowing. I am in awe of the new age of 5 figure sales.

The winning bidder won't pay. They never do.
