Default ODYSSEY 3 and its european DIM/SCART God damn cables...

    Guys, I recently bought a French Odyssey 3 (G7401).

The machine came with the weird DIM/SCART conectors.

Does anyone in the classic gaming world know how to connect something like that european cables in my american TV?

Is there any DIM->RF or SCART->RF adapters????

Does the g7401 happen to output NTSC? If it's from France, it's probably SECAM, and you'll get an unstable, no-color picture from it anyway (on an NTSC TV, at least). Did it come with any video cables at all?

I don't even know if the O2 or O3 graphics suffer any problems if running over NTSC or PAL... my only problem is: How can I connect that DIM/SCART style outputs into my TV?

Is there any DIM/SCART -> RF adaptor???

You say you have an American TV, and if so, your French console will probably not display properly on it. But if you want to try it anyway:

    http://www.beststuff.co.uk/slx_rf_modulator.htm

If the O3 uses RGB for it's SCART cable, this will probably convert it to a PAL format RF transmission. If the O3 uses composite, it may not work at all (France is a SECAM country).

What you need here is documentation, and lots of it. And format convertors. If you just want to connect it to your TV check out:

You want to wire pins 17 and 19 to video, and 1 or 3 and 4 for audio.
