I can't really decide since I haven't played my copy of Silent Hill 2(on Xbox) or Silent Hill 3(on PS2). Both of them are still sitting on my shelf factory sealed.

Despite liking them both a lot - They're both overrated.
What's even more overrated? Fatal Frame.

lol i havent written why i like silent hill 3 over 2 yet mostly because i cant even remember why, i played both games back to back like 10 years ago in highschool, im currently tryin to go through both games
i do remember liking 3 alot more than 2 tho, but i can only name a few reasons that might not stand anymore, 1 being i enjoyed the fact that it was a direct sequel to 1, when i bought the game i walked in not knowing that and i also felt the soundtrack and story were alot darker and grittier, lemme see what else, i do remember sh2 being a really good if not great game and the ending was one of those m night shymalan "wtf!" moments for me, but i never really felt scared, i think 3 had me a little more on edge
im not going to give a final judgement until i beat both of these, but for the time being, from what i do recall, i still stick by my story and say sh2 is a little overrated and 3 underrated

What survival horror game trumps Silent Hill 2 for you? I love the genre, and the only games that I like more are Siren 1 and Amnesia: Dark Descent.
So you got all pissy when everyone didn't agree with you and you don't even really have a solid reason for putting SH3 above SH2? Yeesh.
