I recently acquired an NES that has "NOA" stamped on the inside of the lid and the best I can tell it belongs there. However, I have not seen this stamp before and was wondering how common it is. Does anyone else have this on their door?

I have seen it a few times. Seems kind of rare to me but not worth paying any more for.
I have never seen one of these...wonder the story behind it? Replacement part from Nintendo?

I have two Nintendo consoles, and there may possibly be three floating around my house. The door is broken off the one, whereas the other has the stamp on its door.
While trying to organize 129 GiB of haphazardly organized data, I came across my NES door picture and remembered this thread. I was wondering if anyone had any more information on the stamp, particularly anything definitive as to its origins.

I don't know anything for sure but heres a thought?
refurbished possibly? see any thing different when you open it up? jumper wires? different solder? oddly placed chips?
also what kind of labels does it have, doe sit have any plain labels or does it have a red Mario 1-800 label on it?
