Default WTF is up with Hagane???

So I'm kind of curious. Since when did Hagane suddenly shoot up in demand so much for the SNES? This is a game that was common as dirt and no one looked twice at for as long as I can remember....a Strider ripoff with Jp thematics that isn't all that fun. Now it's a rare $100+ game? What happened? Did I miss something?

I thought it was always pretty rare. It has a lot of style, but it's way too difficult. I haven't seen anyone beat it without using a savestate.

Yes I do believe the US release was. So it's not a dirt common game the US version at least.

What's up with deserts? Get less sand.

The reservation to the way-late-sleeper party was Little Samson plus 1?

Just like Little Samson, not easy to get and a great game. People want to play them, they were missed by nearly everyone when they were new.

Are there any noticeable differences between the SNES and SFC versions? (difficulty or censorship-wise)
I only own the SFC version now, but haven't played it in a while, I used to play the US version when I was into this game.
    Definitely a great game.

I have seen this happen with many other systems once they hit an invisible XX year mark. I would express that calling Hagane a Strider rip-off is not that accurate. It is an amazing side scroller that is now sought after due to very limited supply and increasing demand from Snes collectors. Every generation of systems will have a dominant system for collectors, and I predict that the SNES due to its overwhelming popularity will be collected as much as the regular NES in time.

I like this game quite a bit. Just reading into it in depth now.

The same team who made Sapphire (PCE), Bulk Slash (Sat)? Interesting... Good lineage.

Haven't played Zenki (SFC), but that is their other SNES game.

Doesn't look as good as Hagane... Oh well. It's SNES PowerPak time for me.

I had it years ago, when my local video store was clearing out their SNES games. It certainly wasn't a BB exclusive in Canada, so it may be easier to find here. I think I sold it for peanuts not long after I bought it. It was just too damn hard.
