    Default ZX Spectrum+ Loading help

I can't get my Spectrum+ to load anything at all. I'm trying to run it directly from my computer as I have no tapes yet. I've tried numerous sound output devices, and the best I've gotten is:

    Byte: L
    Program: ????????

I am completely out of ideas. Anyone know what the problem could be? I'm using a mono cable and a mono adapter at full sound.

I never tried that method, but I can tell you that the divIde interface works great with my +2a. Might be worth looking into since you don't have to convert the images and such.

I might get that, seems much easier.

Still, I can't believe it doesn't work. This is well documented, my machine must have a bad port or something.
