Default 3DO with plastic rental "gun" case

My friend wants to sell his 3DO with RF plug in, a bunch of games including Twisted, and Way of the Warrior (Boxed) along with some other games. He has a plastic "gun" case which holds it that was used when it was a rental. Does the plastic gun rental case make it worth any more $$??
You don't have to be smart, you don't have to have all the facts, you just have to be confident.

No. The rental cases are generic cases, normally with just a sticker of the system's logo on it (if even that), and unless they have full foam and it's a huge ass case that doesn't come close to protecting the system that sits in it.

You might get + $10-20 for it from the right person.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
