I was watching this auction the last couple of days because there's a lot of titles there that I don't have. But what's the stand out game here? Why is it shooting thru the roof?

It's the sum of all titles. It's a nice lot and the high bidder is clearly a reseller seeing dollar signs.

The same seller also has a PSX lot that is at about the same dollar amount at the moment and ends later today. He also has a CIB Earthbound for sale as well sitting at $157 with about 32 hours left as of writing this. Also a bunch of living dead dolls and some autographs for non gaming stuff.
Yes, nice cib shite here. But.. resell? huh... If you don't mind shipping 77 games separately for 100$ profit.

It ended up super high, I don't see how a reseller can turn a profit unless they sit on them for years and years and sell them at the super high amount that some resellers expect. With eBay fees, PayPal fees and Shipping fees, they are working for cents on the dollar.
Wow, pretty lofty reselling ambitions with that ending price.
Sweet baby Jesus. $1034 bucks?!
Could be a reseller who has a Store Front.. No Ebay or Paypal Fees?

From glancing at the titles, there are a few decently priced games in there as well as a few low price ones. Unless the person is going to be sitting on that stuff for awhile, they're not going to make more than a couple hundred at best. That also depends on the condition of the games as well, though.

I'm also going to go out on a limb and say that they overpaid. But it does give hope to those wanting to sell a non-sports game PS2 collection.
