    Default Thor on the DS

Just one of those, "you probably missed this one" posts.

WayForward has crafted another 2D gem on the DS, this time the licensed Thor. Still haven't touched the home console versions, but the DS port is a 2D platform beat-em-up and it's great old school gaming. Feels similar to the equally great Batman: Brave and the Bold on the DS, just a little slower so you get that sense of impact as Thor swings his hammer. The music sounds like it's from the same guy who did Contra 4's music too, although I'll have to check the credits to be sure.

Edit: Yep, Jake Kaufman did the score, same as Contra 4. Awesome stuff.

I love games like that, I'm definitely going to check that out. I haven't gotten a good game for the DS in awhile.

WayForward is perpetually stuck in 1993/1994. But that's a good thing
