I'm confused. I see a 3DS game, an LE version of a game, and a 360 version of a game and they are all priced the same as retail. Perhaps a bit of enlightenment instead of a general cry wolf would help your case.
They have to be careful not to go below retail on a regular basis lest they offend their retail partners. They do occasionally have some decent sales around the holidays and every year at Comic Con San Diego, they have a large booth and will deal on larger purchases. As someone else pointed out, they aren't gouging, they are just charging retail which isn't unreasonable.
Not only are they pretty overpriced...but their shipping to anywhere but the US is INSANE. I was gonna order a shirt, an umbrella, and one other thing, and shipping was like $30....and they only ship UPS (who charges fees on top to deliver international).
I ended up cancelling my order with them

I don't recall. I remember ordering some Street Fighter Cammy shirts from them, though. I think shipping was expensive.
Digital River sucks shit.
Yeah, I'm one of those that picked up the Final Fight barrel press kit and had to pay like $70 for it. Wasn't happy about it, but where else will you get it and how much Final Fight memorabilia is actually out there? I think that's definitely part of it.
