E3 kicks off this week with Sony and Microsoft, with Nintendo the day after.
So, with that being said, overall speculation, anyone?
PS3 has no network, lolololol- oh, hi, Kupo.

Halo 4. Booooo.
*edit*
Seriously though. The Microsoft conference, in my opinion, sucked again. Just like last years it based almost the last few years it was based mostly on multiplatform titles. I knew Modern Warfare 3 was going to show, just like last years Black Ops and the previous years Modern Warfare 2, etc.
Forza 4 looks great and if I didn't have to pay for XBL to play online then I'd be picking that up once I purchase a 360 Slim.
Also was just watching Skyrim(didn't see it on the Microsoft conference, not sure if it was on it.) Looks amazing.
While I too thought that there was alittle too much Kinect casual games, that is Microsoft's new market and they will continue to expand on it. But the Halo 4 announcement was a nice surprise. I knew about Halo Anniversary but that is going to really conjest this holiday season. Between Halo: Anniversary, Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield 3 and Gears of War 3--the 360 will once again be the place to be for the best shooters. Unfortunantly, that also means that hardcore shooter fans like myself have to decide the best way to split our time.
I'm also pretty pumped about the live tv coming to XBL. My only concern is how much will it cost. And from the video they showed it looks like we'll be able to order future UFC pay per views directly from our 360 and then interact thru out the night during each fight with Kinect(probably a regular controller as well). They finally appeared to put some pretty practical uses for Kinect in more core games(Mass Effect 3, Ghost Recon, Forza 4, etc.).
I'm a bit dissappointed there was no mention of the new Alan Wake game or Gears of War kinect. I guess they are saving those two for another time or another show.

(other then the look at what Kinect can do tag then can add to the box) Also if the move and sharpshooter have taught me anything playing a shooter in an standing crouched position gets old really fast.
Microsoft seriously disappointed. 2 hours of Kinect, none of it will be anything I buy (except Sesame Street for my daughter). They spent longer on that stupid Disneyland game than they did on Halo Anniversary or Gears 3. Any new IP was Kinect-centric. MS has abandoned their core audience, much like Nintendo did. Like Nintendo did, MS will find they shift a LOT of Kinect units, they but won't sell squat for software.
Oh, and seriously... ANOTHER freaking dashboard redesign? THAT'S what they come to E3 with?

I love how they've completely ignored the Live Arcade two years in a row now to ensure that we have to suffer through more, "simulated families." I mean, do they thing ANYONE buys this crap as legit? It's so phoned in and painful, probably because they actually can't find any of the general populace who squats in front of their TV yelling, "hut hut!" while playing a football game.
Yay for Halo 4 as a fan, COD looks like COD but impressively scaled, and I love Gears macho attitude. Anything using that camera though? Could care less.
Oh, and why is the Mass Effect 3 voice command a big deal with EndWar and Lifeline already did it?
So far, Ubisoft's bi-winning. Can't wait for Rayman.
Battlefield 3 and Skyrim both look amazing. I can see myself dedicating my entire gaming time to just those two titles for months. I love the guy from Bethesda saying that Skyrim will take more than 300 hours to do everything. Actually he said they stopped counting after 300 hours. Can't f'ing wait.
Halo 4...Master Chief back after 5 years...very exciting. Really interested in Nintendo's press conference tomorrow too.

Watching a dude wearing 3D glasses while holding a pink ice cream cone is hilarious for all the wrong reasons.
I'm definitely going to be picking up that God of War Psp collection since I don't have a Psp and haven't played either game yet.

Anyone else notice that Star Trek looked exactly like Mass Effect?

Holy CRAP the Mod Nation track creation tools on the Vita look amazingly intuitive.
And all the PS3 community created Mod Nation content will be available on Mod Nation for Vita on day one? Sweet.
