    Default PS1 dead Controller ports

Hi I have a old Sony PlayStation and for some reason the controller ports don't work I have taken it apart and put it back together, then bam working again but after leaving it alone for a week the problem came back so I redid everything from before no luck I even re flowed the board for the controller ports and still no luck. I was wounding if there was any fuse's on the mother board or something that may need replacing. any help would be appreciated.

Looked around on the net found out what the problem is, a fuse did blow its labelled as PS605 on the motherboard and rated at 15 amp. so I'm gonna check if in-line glass fuse holder can fix it.

I've had a PS1 do this same thing before but I never figured out why. 15amps seems a bit high unless the voltage is really low.
I fix things. You name it, I'll work on it. Want something modded? Recapped?

There is absolutely no chance that there's a 15 amp fuse in the PS1, do not replace it with one.

If you have positively located the blown fuse, let me know what the markings on the top say, and I'll make a listing for you on eBay. I have a big pile of PS1 systems that I need to chop up, so I'm sure I have a direct replacement for what you need. I charge around $2 shipped for a single fuse.

If you have something on hand that you're going to use instead, try to stay in the same neighborhood of the fuse. I'm positive it's not 15 amps. I would guess that the highest rated fuse in a PS1 is less than 3 amps.
