    Default Defective Wing War?

Not long ago, I bought a copy of Wing War for the ColecoVision.

In it, one of the enemies you are up against is a sort of sphinx-like creature. This is the one who really makes the game difficult.

But I've noticed that after a time (about 5 or so Super Crystals), it no longer appears, and from there the game is very, very easy.

I used to have this game back around 1987, and do not remember it being like this. Could it be a defective version; it does not have a lable.

    Anyone know anything about this?
Interesting stuff, here (COMPLETELY unbiased opinion, hehhehheh):

Are you intentionally trying to get people to think you have a prototype?

    No.

But as with ColecoVision Victory, defective copies being shipped is not exactly unknown.
