Default The game chasers show on youtube

Hi guys. I was looking around you tube and came arcoss something really cool i hought you guys might like. It's a show called the game chasers. I'ts like american pickers for classic video games. These two guys go around to flea markets and peoples houses looking for good deals on games. I thought it was interesting and pretty funny as well. I think there are 5 eps sofar. Heres a link to episode 1.

I would love to try and make a show like american pickers ( for gamers ) myself. Problem is if it gets too popular it ruins your sales in the long run. Look at storage wars, now EVERYONE thinks they can make huge money on storage lockers.

I've been a big fan of these guys ever since they were on the All Gen Gamers podcast. Very high production value, as can be expected considering Billy comes from a film background (I think). Very funny and informative, and has really helped "fan the flames" of my collecting interest.

There's also another very similar series that has been around longer on YouTube called Retro Hunters, but they have their own attitude and it's different enough that I enjoy watching both.

I suppose the extra attention might increase the competition at flea markets and garage sales but not by much. Unlike TV shows about storage units, themed restaurants, and the like, the audience these people are marketing to is already looking to collect video games.

Wow I never heard of this before. It's really well produced. I'll have to subscribe to this.

I'll have to start watching this. I live in the area they are talking about, so anytime they find a cool place, I might just drop by as well.

really great show. They're up to episode 8 now and finally found a real gem in the most recent video episode 8. Amazing they found it in a video game store.

edit: shouldn't this be in classic gaming? the show is all about classic game hunting.
