I'm a huge Dragon Quest fan and I hope this will come to the U.S. but Square-Enix probably won't bring it out here.

I agree, it would be very cool to get, especially since we never got the SNES versions. I kinda doubt they bring it here as well, but who knows, maybe we'll get lucky.
I don't see why the wouldn't want to bring it here. It would easily sell, especially during the holiday season.
I'd buy it, with or without having a Wii. That box art is beautiful.
My Gaming Collection (Now at Google Drive!)
Dragon Quest 6 Realms of Revelation sold 120,000 and Nintendo just announced that they're publishing Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2. Now, they might be releasing Joker 2 because Joker had sales of 240,000, or maybe they're considering 120,000 good, especially since they reprinted Dragon Quest 5?
Knowing Nintendo though, I highly doubt this. They have a contract to make the Dragon Quest series popular in the US and they'll get Dragon Quest 9 on the Wii. Nintendo might be forced into releasing all the Dragon Quest games this gen, maybe all the Dragon Quest games on the DS, or maybe they see profit in the release of Joker 2.
I'm just thinking that if they're releasing Joker 2, why wouldn't they release Anniversary over here? The original Dragon Quest has a whole 30 lines of text, and half of that is from the King. Dragon Quest 2 and 3 have a bit more, but it's certain to be much less than Joker 2 by far. I'm thinking that we'll get a release over here as well, it'll just take some time. Look how long it took for Joker 2 to be announced for US release.
