Lookng for help in Legend of Wukong chapter 6

As this is late in the game this will probably have some sort of generic spoiler included, so I hope not to ruin anything for those still playing.

In chapter 6, I have been to Baidi Village, Demon Valley, Fairy Spring, White Sand Village, Tangled Web Cave.

I cleared out the boss in Fairy Spring and all the chests in Demon Valley. I proceeded to Tangled Web Cave and gained access. I took all of the loot and killed every spider I could find. The last spider I fought actually ran from battle; I didn't know if this was intentional or not, but I could not find it again in the cave even leaving and reentering. Assuming this was the norm I went back to town and saved the game, then to the mirage of the spider blocking the way north, but it still gives me the same blah blah mirage text this is a barrier to block people etc and it does not let me through.

I went back to demon valley and to the towns and while not thorough I did not find any new text or the spiders again; I am now stuck and do not know how to proceed. Please tell me my game didn't glitch out because my last backup save is in chapter 4 >_<

Any help is appreciated

The spider is in Demon Valley as is another boss that you need to beat.

I scoured the Demon Valley cave and found no spiders or another boss; and no spiders in Tangled Web Cave so I decided to fire up Deathsmiles MBL to blow off some steam .

I came back to Wukong and voila, after loading up my save the spiders were back in TW Cave but could not engage them; run away spider and a spider eye type boss were now in Demon Valley

Damn Genesis is playing mind games with me

Weird, glad they showed up where they were supposed to, eventually. Getting close to the end now, as the 6th chapter is basically 2 chapters.
