Any word on ever being able to link Wii classic downloads with 3DS?
Disappointed to notice the 3DS store is lacking to say the least and I cant even access my Wii classic game downloads in the store. Anyone know if they plan on releasing all the classic downloads on 3DS like NES, SNES, TURBO GRAFX exc... and being able to link them on your 3DS if you purchased them on Wii? Wold be nice to play Y's, Dracula X, and Final Fantasy on my 3DS. I haven't owned a DSi in a few years. Can you link those with your Wii downloads?
I doubt they'll ever do this, but hey - here's hoping.

Nope. Each store is separate, uses its own points cards and doesn't play well with others (save the DSi store being accessable and games purchasable on the 3DS, and even that is funny, where DSi games are saved on the onboard memory, while 3DS games are saved to the memory card).
Besides Nintendo doesn't even allow transfer of games from one Wii to the next. There is ZERO chance they'd allow a transfer to a handheld. Remember, you're buying a single use license to access these games in Nintendo's eyes, not buying a true digital copy of these games.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.
