Awesome thread. Your research must've taken an age... hat's off to the dedication.

I have to say, selling Famicom games on eBay (which i do a lot of) can be very hit and miss... one week something will go for 1p and the next a couple of £'s. Truly is a weird place!

very nice and helpful price guide. Have you noticed any difference in label variations like mario bros text or picture label?

i always thought this was pretty cool and have been using it lately with my purchaces from yamatoku-classic.
i cant belive how critical some people are, especially when it specificly states ebay prices. either way for most of us ebay is the best way to get famicom games and if there isnt going to be a 2013 edition then i will be looking forwared to a 2014 edition

It's nice and settling to see how cheap these games mostly cost in comparison to their US counterparts. I should get a Famicom next year and start collecting the Famicom version of every NES game I collect for (which is currently at only 24 titles + maybe some arcade games I liked).

I'm a collector, but only to a certain extent.
Not as extreme as Rickstilwell though.[/quote]
