Default Wanted: Sega Megadrive 1, may be broken or without motherboard

    Help an American out please.

I'm seeking a Megadrive 1 of any region/revision. To be specific the case for aesthetic purposes.

So it does NOT have to be functional. Or even contain hardware inside, case only would save on postage anyway. Thanks.

Well a tiny handful of early unlicensed games I doubt I'd care about were blocked by the license screen.

It's more to save time. Having to see that same thing on most startups is kind of wasteful. Luckily the license screen does not occur in Master System or Sega CD modes, only with regular Gen/MD carts.

Why don't you want a Genesis without that TMSS screen? There were Genesis systems without that screen too, it was released in North America without that screen for sure.

That'd require me to set up two consoles. I want a Megadrive and no TMSS, may as well get them together.
Besides even a Genesis without TMSS won't be any easier to obtain. Luck alone isn't enough. A unit can have High Definition Graphics and EXT port, yet still be TMSS... Disappointingly that's the type I grabbed yesterday.

You can tell by the FCC code on the bottom, it would save you the trouble of randomly buying them hoping they're the correct unit.

    Non-TMSS: FJ846EUSASEGA
    TMSS: FJ8USASEGA

Somewhere I have a spare non-TMSS Genesis deck, but I have no idea where it's currently packed. Good luck though with finding that Mega Drive, I wasn't sure if you specifically wanted a Mega Drive or just a non-TMSS unit.

Actually, I would be OK with putting a US board inside the PAL case. Never said it had to be genuine. Not that a case alone is easy to acquire either.
