Default Nintendo 64 Blockbuster Rental Unit,What’s it Worth?

Nintendo 64 Blockbuster Rental Unit,What’s it Worth?

    As shown..

The Controllers Don’t have any Block Buster stickers on them..

    .................
    Nintendo 64 Control Deck
Nintendo 64 Power supply supply switch(ac Adapter
    Nintendo 64 RF Switch
    Nintendo 64 RF Modulator

all have Block Buster stickers on them..

The Case has the two laminated with hanger hole information sheets, one side is for N64,the other is for Playstation..

The N64 Sheet says that the contents would be
    Nintendo 64 Control Deck
Nintendo 64 Power supply supply switch(ac Adapter
    Nintendo 64 RF Switch
    Nintendo 64 RF Modulator
    Two Nintendo 64 Controllers

The left side insert-cushion is not attached to the inside box, glue came loose,I’m going to double side velcro it or double sided stick tape it back in..

The Nintendo 64 Control Deck feels heavy to me so I weighed it compared to another N64 unit and it’s 1.3 Oz heavier then another N64 I have.
    Not sure why it’s heavier..

The whole package looked to have been rented many times and there are signs of use....The case closes properly and as a case it’s nice....I have to do a more tedious cleaning to the system and controllers etc..I just took some quick pics as it is now..

The cushion that holds the System(under the N64 system part is stained.looks like an old soda stain..

If I was to sell this item I’d have to ship the whole thing in a box it’s size and depending on where it was to ship to,I would expect the shipping to be expensive..
The thick plastic case is heavy in itself, the whole thing as it is weighs around 10 pounds

I’d like to know a What’s it Worth in General..

and What’s it worth as to if I was to sell it and have the Shipping Cost to Factor.

    Thank you..

Blockbuster probably added a magnetized security strip inside the unit to prevent theft.

The case is worth $10-$20, the system is about the same as any other N64 except this doesn't have the AV cable and is plastered in rental stickers(are ex-rental games worth more than normal copies?). You didn't say if it had the expansion pack or not.

The extra weight could be dirt and other crap kids shoved into the unit through it's rental life, you'd have to open it up to check for sure. Maybe it's a different revision compared to the other one you weighed, systems get revised throughout their lifespans with altered components.

    Thanks..

Yea no expansion pack, just the stock pak..
They prob didn't add one in fear of it getting switched..

I could install, add a expansion pack to the set if it made it more worthwhile..
I also could add an AV cable to to the set if it made it more worthwhile..

I just figured to leave the set as it is,..as it's contents are what came in the case as rental items with stickers on them...(things match the case)

The systems clean, nothing inside that should not be inside..

This could be the kind of thing where it holds more value to you if it was the rental system *you* used, but otherwise not worth much more?

The boxed copy of a game I own is nice, but the cart only version I bought from the rental store after they cleared out their stock holds more sentimental value to me because that was the cart I first played the game on.
