Default Zelda Four Swords 25th anniversary edition is out now on DSi shop and 3DS eShop

Yeah the Four Swords port is finally up its been up all day on either the DSi Shop or the 3DS eShop and the best part? Its free! until Feb. 20th

Who doesnt like free stuff? Though no online multiplayer but added single player and some new levels that nearly double the game in size.

I didnt see any other threads about this.

Is the area that looks like the overworld map from the original Zelda one of the new areas? Don't remember ever seeing this when I played the multiplayer mode on Link to the Past a few times years ago.

Yes it is, the new areas are based on A Link to the Past, Links Awakening, and the original Legend of Zelda

Despite the lack of online multiplayer, still sounds pretty cool. Question: if one has a DSi and someone else has a DS Lite is there a way at all for the DS Lite owner to play over wi-fi?

I just got a cheap Bronze DSi XL last Sunday so this is perfect timing. Assuming I can lift the darn thing for long periods of time in order to complete it, this is a great game, especially for a freebie.

Does anyone know if these games have to be saved to an SD card and what the maximum SD card size is that a DSi will accept? I didn't know if it worked like a GP2X where you can't go over a certain SD card capacity.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

I do not believe that it has a game sharing feature for DS/DSLite, but it is cross compatible between 3DS and DSi/DSiXL for multi-player games.

Hey, cool! I haven't checked the shop in awhile. I'll give this a spin.

I played the original Four Swords game with a friend (the one that was packed with A Link to the Past on the GBA) and it was a blast.

It's a decent game, but something feels a bit off about it when playing alone. Like, I can't shake the feeling that I'm playing a MULTIPLAYER game. And the rupee comparison at the end of the level? THEY BOTH WIN! What's the point. Anyways, I like the game, just a thought.

How do you even buy something from the shop? Do you need to set up an account first? I never bothered to use it before.

I downloaded it tonight and played it. Obviously, not the same feeling playing in one-player mode. Looking forward to playing against one of my co-workers, who also has it.

Well if you want Club Nintendo coins for the games you buy then you would have to set that up, but if not then you don't have to set anything up. You just go to the eShop go to add funds add your desired amount and boom you'll be set. But be warned if you live somewhere that taxes downloadable purches you will be taxed when you buy the game not when you put the money into your "wallet". Also now with the newest update I think there is an option to add just however much you need for a game but I don't know how to do that.
