Default master system - blue labels?

I didn't have a Master System as a kid, so I know very little of it.

I saw my first Master System game today with a blue label. I've never seen that.

What's the difference between the red and blue versions?

    Blue labels are re-releases.

Difference? None that I know of, besides the cosmetic difference. Fantasy Zone, and Alex Kidd in Shinobi World are my only blue ones. There's a write up about it in the archives here, I believe:

Some are, some were only released as blue carts.

Wow interesting link, thanks, I've never heard of these blue labels before.

Only game I ever got with a different colored label was King's Quest, but that was because it was one of the few third party published games released in the US.

I always thought they were the late release games. Didn't realize re-releases would also follow suit but that makes sense.
