Default How to fix a Colecovision?

I have 3 of these that I've done the power switch cleaning. Even tried carefully bending the connector pins but one some games work and other games gives me the make sure screen. What all do I need to do to restore these to some state of dependability?
Trying to do myself because I'm on a fixed income and can't afford to pay someone to do it. That's also why my a5200 just sits, bad controllers.

Plus got a Mr Do game that I've cleaned and cleaned and when the level select screen comes up, I press 1 and goes back to the first screen. Any ideas or suggestions? Or if I need parts, where can i get them? Thanks.

Do the same games not work on each console? Sounds like dirty contacts to me. If it's a power issue, you'll get a bad signal, a scrambled screen, not a 'Make Sure' screen. Try giving the console's contact a good cleaning.

Seems to be on every console. Any other ideas of what to do to refurbish a Colecovision as cheap as possible? I'll try cleaning the contacts again, thanks.

With your issues being on all 3 consoles, I'd bank on it being dirt. Get a crappy cart, like DK, douche it in contact cleaner, stick it in the Coleco, and wiggle. Swab w a Q-tip, and repeat until it's not all cruddy. When you're done, from the sounds of it, you'll have 3 good Colecovisions

Thanks, I'll give it a try. Can't hurt I guess.

well since were on topic with a colecoVision I came across one at a flea market for $15 with 10 games and the expansion module #2. The only thing is I cant get a game to work for nothing in the world all I get is a greenish screen with a high pitch sound thats the only thing im getting so if anybody knows what the issue is please help I already tried cleaning the carts out and the power swich so those are fine now. Could it be a faulty AC adaptor or something?

I'd measure the output voltages on the power supply to rule that as problem or ok.

This page has a pinout of the CV power supply, among others.
