What Game(s) Are You Playing? Daily Check (2011)

Yay, I finally played a bit after not touching a game for weeks. I just got too many projects and plans going on lately. But in enjoying Christmas, the family played some 4-player Mario Kart Wii (we were going to do Double Dash but could only scrounge up 3 GameCube controllers). We mostly did races, but we screwed around in battle mode a little too. It's not my favorite Mario Kart but it was still great fun.

Hyperdimension Neptunia

Got it for Christmas and started playing it tonight. Loving it so far, the game is crack-addict insane. Tons of game references, bizarre humor, customizable combo system. Just overall fun to play.

I've been playing my recently acquired copy of Tail Concerto for the past two days.

I was burning through the game, until I hit the double whammy of the Abandoned Factory and the Secret Base levels. The Abandoned Factory wasn't so bad, I just took it slow so I wouldn't lose any whistles.

However, the Secret Base is an absolute pain in the ass! I hate timed levels with a passion. They're the kind of level that makes me want to throw my controller at the wall! Having a loose analog stick on my controller doesn't help matters either.

I looked through a few FAQs, and they all say that this level is one of the hardest in the game. So, I guess in order to actually pass the level, I'll have to sacrifice lots of whistles.

Sword of Mana, the soundtrack totally hooked me, one of the best Ive listened to.
