Where's Donkey Kong Country? I think it didn't make it. I see Streets of Rage, New Adventure Island, and Legend of Kage

Wow! You learn something new every day!

I had no idea there was a version of Adventure Island on the TG-16. I only thought it was on the NES and SNES.

Streets Of Rage looks like my only download this week. Didn't Nintendo say Metroid (regular or Super) would be out by the end of Febuary?

I think the question here is if it is any better than the SNES version--which is excellent.

Depends on what you're into. New Adventure Island plays much like the original, with minimal new frills, but it looks and sounds great. Super Adventure Island has more stuff going on, and the Yuzo Koshiro soundtrack. It's pretty subjective as to which is better.

If anyone got Streets Of Rage today, are you having trouble getting your classic controller to work?

It's not working at all on mine.

Really? I haven't had any problems with my Classic Controller on SoR. It's not reconizing it or something?

Joystiq reports that the following Genesis titles will be released "sometime soon:"

    Beyond Oasis
    Sonic Spinball
    Sword of Vermillion
    Vectorman

I imagine the previously announced Bio Hazard Battle is still on its way too.

Excuse me for bumping the thread again so quickly, but:

Joystiq reports that Ocarina of Time will be available on Monday.

For anyone who has 480p on their Wii, I would encourage you to check this VC release out. The two Gamecube releases of OOT (WW preorder and Zelda Collection) were progressive scan compatible, and looked phenomenal. The N64 version by comparison looks like a muddy, blurred mess...especially with "2007 eyes".

If you didn't pick up the GC versions mentioned above or didn't have component cables for your 'cube, make sure to get this new VC version. You will be amazed.

I'm definately buying. I confess, I've never actually never played it. But I am kinda looking forward to it. Just never was a big N64 fan.

Plus I'm kinda glad I have a spare 1400 points left, now. I didn't think there would be anything coming out I wanted, until Super Metroid.

Fair warning, Zelda OoT takes a BIG chunk of flash memory...I had 1110...it's now at 824...286 blocks in total..but at least Nintendo was nice enough to make it 1 block for the save file...so 287 in total.

Hey, Chew Man Fu is really pretty fun, and has cool music. Maybe I'll snag that! Not one I would have expected them to put up. I'm glad about that.
