Default Why do $100 Amazon Gift Cards on Ebay sell for like $106?

I'm in the market to buy a brand new Playstation 3. Ideally, I'd like to get some Amazon gift cards at a discount, and buy my PS3 via amazon. (free shipping, no tax). I've seen people on Craigslist saying that they will sell you a $100 Amazon Gift card for $80 or whatever, but I know that they are pretty shady, so I figured I'd go see if the gift cards are sold on Ebay.

To my shock, I find a ton of Amazon Gift Cards being sold on Ebay, but the funny thing is, that often times it seems people are paying $103 for a $100 Gift card. Does this make any sense at all?

I mean, if you can't get at the very least a 15 percent discount, why even bother?

Are the buyers outside of the US and taking advantage of an exchange rate that's in their favor even WITH the extra $6?

Why do people park on the driveway and drive on a parkway?

This one is real easy. Amazon doesn't take paypal, and eBay obviously does.

Plenty of time I've wanted to buy gift cards with my paypal funds (as a freelance writer I make a decent amount of paypal cash on a monthly basis).

    That prettymuch answers that.

(yes, you could use a credit card, but I hate using them for obvious reasons)

EDIT: Plus, the seller could always just be kind and e-mail you the relevant number and "password" for the gift card so that you wouldn't even have to wait for shipping. Which is probably what happens a great deal of the time.

From what I've read, ALL of those gift cards for less posts are spam bots.
