    Default Internal Megaman documents etc

I found a huge stack of paperwork from Capcom related to the Megaman series. Some of it is junk but some of it is interesting.

    Slides with character images

Black and white images of the gamebox images without text or cropping etc.

A memo discussing the unreleased Sega Genesis game.

Bitchin'. As a huge Megaman fan I have to say I'm jealous /awestruck by a find of anything Megaman related that was internal to Capcom. How the heck did you find this stuff?

Do you have any other letters/memos? Considering the Wily Wars saw no North American release and appeared only on the short lived Sega Channel, I'm particularily interested if you have anything in the "junk" pertaining to it. Please let us know what the "junk" you have is!

Yeah lots to sort out but there is good stuff in here if you dig. Emails, faxes, photographs and original photo negatives. Some good stuff for sure but some of it is cut up photographs taped together etc perhaps for reference? Interesting but hard to store or display. Some of this stuff I'll part with and I sold those character cels already but I'd like to keep the best of it.

Junk would be stuff like cut up instruction books which there are ton of etc.

Glad you enjoy it. Not sure what to share here so here are a few more I found interesting.

Part of a group study of different robot body types conducted with 12-18 year old boys.

    Megaman 5 Gameboy?

The pencils are on the top side while the paint is on the reverse.

This time the pencil is on a seperate sheet and a more defined but copied piece has the paint around the boarder.

    some emails and faxes

What game is the gba art from? Maybe the canceled Mega Man Anniversary Collection for gba? (it was to include the gb megamans 1-5) It could be Megaman and Bass but I'm pretty sure that would warrant...Bass...in the picture.

Otherwise, holy cow I get chills from some of this. The sketch of the Mega Man 3 title and robots...wow.

"The Megaman in this game is the rolly polly cartoony megaman" haha!

Has anyone ever sold anything like this before?
Someone asked me for a price on the all of it but I think it makes more sense to break it up.

I'm pretty sure it was meant to be the rolly polly cartoony Anniversary Collection.

What exactly is all of this? It looks like proofs and faxes sent between Capcom and NOA to announce the titles for publishing, but I could be wrong. It's weird to see something as recent as the GBA collection art in with such old promotional pieces. Someone definitely collected this stuff purposefully...

As far as Mega Man X soccer, I'm confused as to how that concept could come to be. The US localization team wouldn't have been that confused, would they?

Some of the things here are very basic ideas and others are more refined. Both are fun to see and show different parts the development process.

That is indeed an early concept boxart for the cancelled Megaman Anniversary Collection, but erroneously has Ground Man present, who only appeared in Megaman & Bass. The image looks like it was later used with Groundman being replaced by Skullman.

Buyatari, these American treasures are not found in any Megaman artbook, not even the excellent R20 which has hundreds and hundreds of sketches. Please, I implore you, please scan each of your amazing sketches and add them to an archive without watermarks!

What you have is truly exciting. The Sketches of the US boxarts for the Gameboy games alone gets to me.
