It bugs me when people complain about Heatman's stage. I Am a master at it and pass it without falling. How are you with Heatman's stage?

Megaman 2 is the only Megaman game I had as a kid, and is still the only one I can beat in one sitting. Heat Man's stage is pretty easy for me. If people have trouble with that stage, specifically the long area with the disappearing blocks, I tell them to wait until you unlock the Rush Jet. It's way easier doing it that way.
He, his stage and the rest of the game are actually really easy for me, I do slip up sometimes on his stage at the part with the reappearing blocks over that stream of lava, but I tend to just use the jet instead. I can see how some may have trouble though.
haha. Little too personal?
But i beat it with no jet but my brother has to use the jet. But megaman 2 is one of my favorite games.
One of my favorite games of all time. If I were to put the game in right now, I'd likely have trouble with it. I used the rush jet during it, too. Back then this was all I played, though. I went through a Mega Man phase ^_^
What is this Rush Jet in Mega Man 2 you guys are talking about? Oh, you mean Item 2.
Quick Man was probably the worst for me personally, Heat Man perhaps being a very distant second. I didn't really follow any particular boss order when I was younger, I remember having hard times with Flash Man, Air Man, and Wood Man on different play sessions, depending on how much I was trying to brute force my way through that day.
Heatman was a small pain, mostly the blocks.
Quickman, that stage give me fits, even WITH Timestop. I HATE that stage.
Mega Man 2, relative to the other old-school Mega Man games, is I think the easiest. By quite a bit.
When I was 5, Heatman and Quickman were the only stages I had any trouble with, but I could still beat them. Now as an adult, those two stages seem like a breeze now. Especially Quickman. You just have to remember the directions in which to fall, and it's not so bad.
I think Mega Man 2 is the easiest by far but it was my favorite game growing up and I've been playing it since I was in the 3rd grade. I own Heat Man's stage. Without ITEM-2.
Everyone has their favorite Mega Man 2 'route'. I think Flash Man is probably the best to take down first, you can fly through the beginning of Metal Man and Air Man Stages when you use the Flash, you dont have to wait for the Metal Crushers in Metal stage and in the Air stage the big heads wont spawn those little guys out of their ears...
I will admit, I never took the time to learn the blocks in the Heat Man stage... I was forced to learn them in Ice Man stage!
BUT, Quick Man? I can fly through that stage easily… Quick Man is the first stage I play in MM2… his stage is fast, easy with very few enemies, and Quick Man is easy to defeat with just the default blaster…
The only thing that gives me trouble in MM2 is the third boss in Wily's Castle, where you have to use the crash bombs. I end up running out of crash. The strategy I always used was to go in, destroy all the walls, die, refill the crash meter and go back and destroy the targets. I also use the trick where you can make bullets pass through you by pausing and unpausing. I haven't played MM2 in a long time, I'd probably be too impatient for that now and try to beat that boss in one try.
You know, I think I'll go play Megaman 2 now.

MM3 is the easiest for me to finish still. Like everyone else, I always used ITEM-2 on Heat Man's stage, same with Wily Stage 1 with the blocks (I think).
