    Default Amiga 2000 System

I got a lead on 3 of these, one with a video toaster (dunno which one), one is a 2000 HD, and one looks real pretty. Mountains of floppies, manuals, etc, but mostly programs, not much in the way of games. I could get it all for $150, but I've never tried to sell an Amiga before, and after looking on Ebay, it seems everyone parts out the 2000's, which I don't have time to do. Anyboy with experience selling these? What would a system sell for?

Probably a good deal. A few years back, I sold 2 very basic A2000's for ~$100 each (system,k/b & mouse only) on Craigslist. The only completed A2000 I see on evilbay went for ~$150 with no k/b. Biggest concern is functionality; they're prone to bad caps and damage from leaking batteries, and the drives have a high failure rate.

Thanks, that's all I needed to know. The guy has piles of electronics, I mean rooms full. So I was leery to begin with. Knowing they have cap issues... I'm out. Appreciate it!

Ah man. So that's why NTSC amigas have become difficult to get? Huh, good to be aware.
    Lum fan.
