Default TGNRMC - X-Com Versus Blast Corps

We are having a little tournament series. It is called "THIS GAME Needs to be Remade for Modern Consoles" or TGNRMC for short.

How the tourney period works: Two games will go mano-a-mano per thread with people voting for their favorite. The winners of each bracket will face off against the other winners in the following brackets until only the winning "champion game" remains.

The rules: There will be one tourney match per day until a final winner is decided. All "champion games" are ineligible for future "THIS GAME Needs to be Remade" tournaments.

This thread is for voting between X-Com and Blast Corps.

X-Com, but not as another 'me too' FPS. X-Com the way it should be, strategy!

Blast Corps was just plain fun! How can you not like a game where you wreck stuff??

Although I haven't played X-Com, that's my choice because it's supposedly a really good strategy game. I like strategy games.

With Blast Corps, it's technically seen several remakes through releases of the Katamari series.

X-Com, but not as another 'me too' FPS. X-Com the way it should be, strategy!
If only the new Syndicate was just a graphical upgrade of itself with more to do.
Everything in the above post is opinion unless stated otherwise.

Two awesome games, but I'm more into action these days, and Blast Corps is one of the best action games ever, and there's nothing else quite like it, so I vote for it to be remade.

blast corps would probably be an easier transition to modern consoles while also being more accessible to new players and casual players alike...but my vote is till going to xcom cuz i dont give a fuck! no greys are going to be moving into my neighborhood and having sex with my daughter, not on my watch!
