    Default Favorite Commodore 64 songs/themes

What C64 songs still make your heart soar after all these years?

Feel free to include links to the songs if possible.

Rob Hubbard's International Karate, which is now available on the Wii's Virtual Console, by the way.

    Martin Galway's Rambo theme...

    and

his Yie Ar Kung Fu theme is sublime.

And here are two more from Hubbard- the opening theme to Commando and the the high score music. Oh, and here's a metal cover of the opening just for the hell of it.

I guess that's got the ol' ball rolling.

Lazy Jones has really cool music, it was one of the first video games I really loved when I was really young.

If you have an iOS device, SidPlayer Pro is a great app. It lets you browse through tons of Commodore songs.

And to answer the original question: the opening song to Temple of Apshai Trilogy really takes me back. I can remember loading the game just to listen to the music.

    And Uridium!

The title screen music from 'Uridium' is my all time favorite.

The starting theme to The Human Race
    Spy-vs-Spy 1
    Rambo First Blood
    Giana Sisters
    The starting screen for Drelbs.

Most of the more popular ones are my favorites too.

Drelbs scared the living bejesus out of me as a kid. I remember being absolutely frightened by that game.

The freakiness is the reason I played it then and I play it now. But Forbidden Forest was the game that screwed me up.

Man, no M.UL.E. main theme? I mostly associate it with the a800, but it's still iconic.

Also the Master of the Lamps soundtrack. Don't know why I love it but I do...
