Well no one is going to buy me any retro games but I am going to try and get Soul Blazer, Final Fantasy Adventure and M.U.S.H.A. on eBay for myself.

That. All year round actually. Besides: We agreed to not buy each other presents. People seem to have to much money.

Yeah I can't say anybody buys me retro games either, but I may finally cave and buy myself an MVS stand up cab from craigslist. I am moving into an apartment with a friend for my last year of college, and I think an arcade cabinet would be a perfect piece of furniture to warm the apartment with...

I asked my brother for Bronkie the Bronchiasaurus (since he had asthma as a kid) or, since BtB is so expensive, Boogerman: A pick and Flick Adventure (since he's a boogerface. It's a joking name we've used for each other over the years). I asked my sister for Mega Man Soccer since she played soccer for years.

I figured it'd be fun to have them contribute to my collection in a way that reminds me of them :P Once I reach completion I'll have some interesting stories behind some of my games. Some I got from family, one I got from winning a contest, one will be mailed to me by my best friend whose wedding I was in (if he ever gets around to mailing it...) I think it's cooler that way than me just finding them all myself

I would love a fairly mint, boxed copy of Michael Jordan: Chaos in the Windy City for the SNES.

I think I gotta agree with the people above, not many people buy me retro games. Altho i wouldn't say no to a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga for the Saturn. XD

I recently acquired a Sega CD Model 2 from a friend of mine, so i might go ahead and pick up Android Assault and Sonic CD and make that a Christmas gift to myself. (Beats playing Night Trap over and over again XD)

I think the only retro game on my list is Star Ocean III. And not everyone classes PS2 as retro.

Other games I've asked for include Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, Sonic Colours DS and Harvest Mooon: Animal Parade.

I suspect I may also be getting Professor Layton: The Spectre's Call as well.
I reject your reality and substitute it for one of my own!

First I'd faint if anyone in my family bought me a video game for Christmas, they're clueless! For the Atari 7800, Failsafe. Love Countermeasure.

I'd ask for games, but I know whoever I asked probably wouldn't come through with the exact game I had asked for.

Knowing my luck, I'd request a certain game, a NES game let's say, and I'd end up with a Mario Bros/Duck Hunt cart.

SG-1000 stuff - games, peripherals, etc... I got a new SG-1000 II in November 4 (the SG-1000 II has the same functionality as the SG-1000 I but is half the price and half as hard to find).
Real collectors drive Hondas, Toyotas, Chevys, Fords, etc... not Rolls Royces.
