if they are in good shape and not the reissues from a few years ago, the early sets are worth a decent chunk of change.

Mine are all original and have been sitting in a shoe box for about 20 years or so

The earlier sets from the original series go for more money. Here's a recent auction that had Series 1 and 2 complete.

    Link

The later sets from the original series do not go for as much last time I checked (2 years ago?), since you can still find new boxes.

They are worth like .50 cents to $4 for rarer individual cards in MINT condition. As you can see in the auction linked above, both the first and second series complete sets only went for 225.00, also if the cards are all bent up, smooshed corners, rubber banded, stress lines, etc will significantly alter the value.

A Few years ago you could probably have gotten $150 per set.

I have boxes of misc old trading card pack,NES,Home Alone..horror stuff, old tv shows.

    Pokemon..crap all over the place..

These Garbage pail kids are 2003..the one box is sealed...Not sure what they are worth.

I do have the older Garbage pail kids in a Cigar Box somewhere that I gotta figure out where I stuck it.

I collect old trading cards, make me a list and we can probably work something out.

the 2003 and up stuff isn't nearly as valuable , I think it had chase cards in packs that may still hold a value. but like most cards the normal sets don't hold much value, full sets are generally 5-10$ (not including chase cards) which tend to be 1-5$ on average per card

Do you have any of the original #1 series of wacky packages from the late 70's?

I have all the recent books filled but I would love to get the original set/sticker album that I had as a kid.

    Funny you ask..
When my Grandfather past on he left me a lot of stuff ,well rather a box filled with paper items, war memorbilia, stamps, old trading cards..
old wacky packages but all taped to some backing, really old frail stuff. so old and falling apart from age I don't even know if I still have that stuff.
Gives me insentive to look though.
.He had a lot of old card stuff like this stuck, tapes to like folder cardboard I guess that was once hung up..

Wow, I was talking about the first re-run of the originals in 78-79, it sounds like those ARE the originals with 'lick n' stick backings circa 1967-69. Some of those go for 500-1500 Each on e-bay. You should really check them out.

here is all the info you would ever need on them...

    Thank you..

I haven’t found those cards yet..It’s either they were ruined in the flood(hurricane Irene basement flood loss)..somewhere else as I have so much crap...or by some reason I threw them out, that not being me though..I know for sure I had old Garbage pail or wacky pak type stickers stuck on some kind of folder backings..thry seemed more like a lick on type sticker as the stickiness wasn't that great,or maybe just dried out old..
They looked just like the old card items in the link below, slideshow,,

I started to search around my stuff...I have boxes of unopened Pokemon cards, two huge filled folders, and a folder of old baseball cards ..
