Not sure if it's really Northern Jersey, but there's a place in Jersey called "Collector's House Online" that has a load of earlier stuff, especially 2600 stuff.
...I'm so used to being blind...
Collector's house no longer has the store, but they do still do mail order.Originally Posted by Ed Siegler
@Kaine, Are you looking for something specific or just want to browse? I'm not a store, but I live in Union County (north-central part of the state)and have a number of carts and systems (INTV, Coleco, 2600, 5200). If you have specific wants, perhaps we can work something out.
I live in Morris County btw.
Anyhow jus tlooking any anything really, a store or place that someone knows of that does sell least Atari stuff that I may want to check out next time driving around with friends that isn't too far (then again we have driven past Hillside some Thursday nights to see one my friend's exs).
Goblin, I do have an Atari 2600 collection goal. If ya want PM or AIM me sometime and we'll chat.

There's a guy in NJ that has a site with lots of Atari stuff at pretty decent prices too. Im pretty sure he is selling out of a store too, and isnt only selling online, but I may be wrong. You can check with him. Site is collectorscardsandgames.com.
That's the same as Collector's House, mentioned above. The same guy, I mean. He's not called Collector's House anymore, but that's what most people know him byOriginally Posted by Atari and Beer
I know of a place in Newark.....Broad Street in Newark..if your Willing to drive that far.
If you walked into this store you would think you walked into another time zone..This guy has a ton of Pre- NES stuff.
I personally bought two Vectrex systems from this store..one with it's box.
And I bought boxed vectrex games there too.
I can say he has/had everything in retro/classic gaming systems you can imagine..It's unbelievable....
He does sell new siuff too..
There is a Big Mario Statue in the front of the store...and he sells coins..
The store has been there for years..It was owned by an old man who now lets his Son run it..he's kinda old too.
They know their stuff...
I could never figure out how he makes money because the store is always empty..unknown..
But He sells a lot of things online..A few times I heard the son talking over the phone to the father about things they were selling that were in stock..That day it was a SMS and games.
I haven't been down to the store in two years..the last thing I bought from him was a Sealed Aliens VS predator game..for the Jaguar and a NGPC.
My uncle says the store is still there..he passes it when he goes home from work..
The main problem is it's in a very bad crime area and you can't stop or park in front of the store..(Ticket Quick)
So you have to park about 1-2 blocks away....if you get lucky..
Unless you want to pay $5.00-$10.00
The last time I went to the store with my Uncle in his van..Somebody painted their name(Tagged) real big on the side of his van..(boy was he pissed)..
If you are interested in going to this store then send me an email..
There are several stores in this area that sell games..Two years ago I went to a store across the street to another store that had PS and DC colored casings+Import games for both systems and other stuff.
I bought 5 NGPC loose games from that store for $15.00 a piece.
I will find have to find the Phone number and name of the store..
Whenever the guy from this store answers he says "Games"
Since it's so burried within a bunch of other games/electronics stores it's hard to get a phone number for the store..The store has no sign outside saying a name..
When I do a search for a video game store in this location I get at least 5 stores in this area of Broad Street..
What I do is call each one and ask what they sell...They are the only store with old Arcade machines in the back.
The last time I searched for this store.. it was the last store I called..(damn it..)
I never asked him his online selling store name..I forgot to..
When you go into the store you forget about asking questions and start looking at all the stuff he has for sale like stacks of Atari 2600 carts..
So let me know and I'll get you the number tomorrow.
I don't know Where the owner of this store is now,,The store is no longer in existance..
I met Joe here a few times at NAVA meetings...

Sweet, thanx guys. Dunno I'll ever go that way but likely would use the store.

It's at the point where Franklin Sreret meets either Broad st..or Bloomfield ave....Next door to the FEEDBAG..
(Cash for Games )
If you can't get there I think they ship..You can call them to see if they have what you want...I know they can get some things....they have got me many things....and I know they sell online..
But I failed to ask them for the online name again....damn it.. x_x
Maybe it's the sames as the store name/s..
I went there years ago looking for a Vectrex..within a week he called me..
He got my Vectrex with box from an old lady...
with a bag of loose carts..
I bought some boxed games he had...but he failed to put the overlays in the boxes..when I got home I had empty envelopes in the boxes..I was pissed..
I saw the overlays...they were next to the box and carts in the glass display..
So I called him..he checked and didn't see them..(then I may have got a little loud)..and he found them..I had to go all the way back to get them..The shame is..at the time I was buying a lot off this guy and either him or his very knowledgeable co-worker tried to pull a fast one..
He's a nice guy..no doubt..just check on what you buy...
I didn't buy the bag of loose carts..I planned to but I never went back for them..I was a little bitter after my last transaction..and some of his prices are high on things..
Awhile after that he called me with an other Vectrex...and a bad Graphics Vectrex...for parts no controller..
I bought the two for $200.00 and sold the working one to my uncle..
Then Mike from Videogameconnections sent several people an Email(including myself) saying that he had a Vectrex in his store for sale for $150.00..I bought that one too...and sold it..
\Does anyone remember getting that email?..Joe?
Wow, thanx guys!!
