I'm not sure if this game was just way shorter than the last three, if the grinding is just managed better or if I've just become Phantasy Star Jesus, but I blew threw this game with hardly any hang ups. Great game and a great way to end out the series.
Finishing that also finishes off....
11. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection
Awesome collection is awesome. Has plenty of my favorites and a pile of games that were new to me. I'm a sucker for compilations, in particular good comiplations.
1. Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I (XBLA, 1/1)
2. Secret of Mana (SNES, 1/5)
3. Kirby's Dream Land (3DS VC, 1/11)
4. Final Fantasy III (SNES, 1/18)
5. Sonic CD (XBLA, 1/27)
6. Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest (SNES, 1/31)
7. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (360, 2/1)
8. Rayman Origins (360, 2/10)
This game wasn't even on my radar and it took me completely by surprise when I finally played it, it's a great platformer and the team at Ubi should be very happy with what they've done with this game. The visuals are bright and colorful, the music is quirky, and the games sports a perfect, though sometimes frustrating, difficulty level. This one get my highest recommendation and I think it's a shame it hasn't sold better because I would love to see another Rayman game done in this same style.

Not much to say here...this puts me 21/49 for the Ultimate Genesis Collection though.
I just beat Donkey Kong for the Gameboy, and I have to say that this sequel to the franchise was some of the most fun I've ever had on a platformer.

Guardian Heroes
Loved this game back on the Saturn, I had to get used to some of the changes since that version, but it's a great port and certainly worth the $10 they charged for it (especially when you consider what a physical copy on the Saturn goes for).
Sonic
Forgot to ever play the unlockable version on Generations, but now I've done everything on that game.
Wow forgot all about this thread.

It's been about 10 days since I've picked up a controller of any kind. Glad I finally purchased this gem of a shooter!
Finished Bioshock 2 this morning after giving up on it soon after it released. Started over from the beginning two weeks ago and finally watched the credits roll today. Pretty good game, not sure why I abandoned it back then.

I just finished Dead Space 2 and I'm officially one of the biggest Dead Space fanboys out there. This series is so far beyond what others are doing in single player action games, it's ridiculous.
EDIT: Just finished Child of Eden (on normal). It's easily one of my favorite games this generation (or any, really).

Just beat The Gunstringer on 360 with kinect. It's one of the best core Kinect games out there. I enjoyed my initial play thru but the camera was being retarded for more times than I would have liked. Had it stayed correct for the entirety this might have been one of the best games I've played so far this year.
