    Default Modding Genesis With S-Video

Anyone know who I can send a console like a model 1 Genesis or an Atari 7800 to have composite and s-video output? I don't want to use an R/F for the Atari and I'm mad that the front headphone jack is stereo on the model 1 Genesis, but the rear output is mono. Plus, S-Video would look a lot better on the Genesis.

I'm looking for a reputable place that isn't going to lobotomize my consoles and do a nice clean looking job. Or at least a site showing how to do this yourself.

I know the Longhorn Engineer did S-Video & Composite mods for the 7800, I wonder if he's still doing them. Also there was someone on here that had a website and modding service from Canada, I can't think of the name right now, hopefully it will come to me.

Ask for the Genesis, that headphone jack comes in handy especially if you want RGB out of the console with Stereo sound. The RGB to Component or HDMI method works much better since you don't need to modify the console in anyway to receive the best possible picture. You just need buy a few wires and a convertor box, that's it.

Question is, what type of TV you gonna display it on CRT or HDTV?

I think that was omnedon, and AFAIK he doesn't really do old systems anymore.

With the Genesis I would just use a Y adapter from the front headphone jack, but I hate having the cable coming out of the front. I want to be able to get stereo from the back of the console. As for the T.V. right now it's an LCD. Eventually it will be back on a CRT when I have the room.

Discrete connectors? I've done plenty of those.
I fix things. You name it, I'll work on it. Want something modded? Recapped?
