Default FS: Omega Neo Geo CMVS Systems and Kits

For those who don't frequent the neo-geo.com forums, I recently launched a new product designed for gamers that are looking to enjoy the Neo Geo experience without paying full AES prices. These systems allow you to play less expensive MVS cartridges on a standard TV in a console form factor that has been inspired by the AES. Anyway, the website where you can order them from is currently undergoing an overhaul. Anyone that is interested in purchasing one or has any questions can contact me via PM or email at sales@arcadeworks.net.

It'll run you about $50 for shipping to Australia via EMS. Priority is only a couple dollars less but nearly double the delivery time. Most international destinations fall in this price range.

For those interested in this console, shadowkn55 demoed it for me personally today, and its a great machine. The casing is professionally done, and is very sturdy. It looked great on a CRT. It has a bios for changing game settings, region, etc. as well as a recharging battery that saves game data for about 7 games, much like the Sega CD or TurboBooster.

He was also a very courteous dude, and clearly loves the Neo. I'll be picking one up after I get my tax situation squared away. Thumbs up!

Man, I REALLY like these. I would love to have an AES. However, in the description it states "will allow you to play the less expensive MVS cartridges". Does this mean, that it takes MVS, as in the arcade cabinate, cartridges? I'm sorry, I'm a bit confused. I also would like some pics, or maybe even a video demoing these, I would love to see it in action and it may help sales.

Yeah, it's a consolized mvs, so it plays the arcade mvs carts. I don't think it plays aes carts. He didn't demo any for me, anyway. But he'll have to tell you for sure.

The unit only plays MVS carts. To support AES carts, I'd have to add in another cartridge slot and a slew of other logic chips. The AES and MVS have a different number of pins on the cartridge slot and have different methods of retrieving graphics data.
