Default Blaster Master for NES with a round seal of quality?

I have 2 copies of Blaster Master for NES and 1 happens to have a round black seal of quality now all the revisions mentioned on this site:
    http://bootgod.dyndns.org:7777/profile.php?id=168
say it has an oval white seal, which my other copy does have so what is up with this copy with the black seal? I'll provide pictures in a little my camera's battery is charging.

Well upon looking on ebay, it seems its not too uncommon, but it is certainly more rare than the white seal version. Just weird that, that site doesnt have any info on the black seal one.

Many games can be found with either seal.

I think he was commenting more on the fact that bootgod doesn't show the variant when it tends to be the definitive source for seal of quality determination.

Maybe, but he's also a bit obsessed with Mega Man, so he may still appreciate my post.

The round seal version is the original 1988 release of the game. When Nintendo revised the Seal of Quality in early '89 they also changed the game labels to reflect that.
