Personally, I think Pendergrass is teh sux for game hunting. Everything is common and overpriced. Head on over to Athens and check out JJ's Flea Market. Nice selection of vendors and folks just cleaning out their closet. Maybe I'll see you there...
But then again, I'm just creating more competition for myself...
On second thought, stay away from Athens. Nothing to see here. Nope.
Although I have never personally been there, I have heard that Athens is a mecca for finding used video games at flea markets. Conversely, vendors will tell you with a straight face that Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt, which usually carries a $15 to $20 price tag, is "rare" at Keller's Flea Market in Savannah.
If you're wanting to start a collection at reasonable rates, there are a few "regulars" who have decent deals, though personally, the best deals come from the people who just come by to get rid of the clutter from their basements. The only problem with that, is that it's totally luck of the draw. Sometimes you can find incredible deals, other times you can go there for weeks on end and never find anything good.
Yeah, we've got the same guys, who after six years of going there personally, still have the same sun-faded copies they're trying to sell as "rare and valuable". Though occasionally, these guys do slip up. Sure, they may slap a $15 price tag onto anything that has Mario's face on it, but other games, like Castlevania Legends, is only worth four bucks in their eyes.

Athens is actually where I got the idea to start collecting classic video games back in 1994. We stopped at a junk shop in town and I saw 2600 games there, first time I had seen them in years.
