Default What are your favorite licensed games?

Back in our day we had Tiny Toons, Awesome Disney games Lion King etc, Willow Arcade, etc etc What do we have nowadays?

I know a lot of them definitely aren't worth full price but when you're paying a dollar for them, it's kinda hard to look down on them.

    Mine:
    King Kong
    Flushed Away
    Mummy Dragon Emperor
    Eragon
    Quantum of the Sol-ice
    TMNT
    Reservoir Dogs
    From Russia with Love
    Terminator Redemption

all pretty decent fun games in my opinion I ain't no snob
    Go, go Ackman!

I've liked the NES Chip n Dale games, and more recently on Gamecube I thought 007: Everything or Nothing was pretty good.

I liked the original TMNT game for the Nes and I'll also throw in another vote for 007: Quantum of Solace on 360. And Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith on Xbox was pretty good too. The Genesis version of Spider-Man and Batman: Arkham Asylum also get nods.

Scarface the World is Yours. It's an open world game, and although the city of Miami is ridiculously small(atleast on Scarface), the game is pure fun.

If you've ever played GTA4, the gameplay is exactly the same. You can auto aim, which targets the enemy and then you can move the target anywhere on their body. You can fire without auto aiming. Depending on the body part of the enemy that you hit, and whether you are auto aiming or not, will increase your balls meter. Whenever the balls meter is full, you can hold the O button to go into an FPS mode with unlimited ammo, one hit kills, and every kill restores health. You can end the mode early by holding O to save the remaining balls meter, but will have to go back to full to use it again.

Even though Miami is small, the second half of the game unlocks some islands on the outskirts of Florida. These are also fairly small, probably around the same size. There are also some other islands with nothing going around on them, and then one that is fairly large that you have to go through during a story mission. The story missions send you through different buildings or different parts of the world map and are actually well done. So despite such a small world, the game has a lot of content.

Another draw of the game is buying and selling coccaine. Buy low, sell high. At first you'll start buying a certani amount from dealers on the street, selling it to other dealers that are around. There's a sort of mini game that nets you a lower or higher buy amount, and a lower or higher selling amount. Later in the game you'll be getting purchasing drugs at the islands by the kilo and then driving them back to Florida. You'll then deliver all the drugs to your fronts for a huge profit.

So what do you do with all the money? Early in the game you'll receive a catalog. You can purchase a driver, assassin, and a boat driver as different characters who can support you. You use this money to up the defense of your fronts. Purchase a ton of cars, boats, perks, and different items and such for Tony's mansion.

If you're a fan of the movie, most of the famous scene's areas are recreated extremely well. From the Babylon Club, to Tony's Mansion, to the Sun Ray Hotel, etc. Tony isn't voiced by Al Pacino, however the voice actor does well in sounding very similar.

I know there are people who dislike the game because it changes the ending and Tony doesn't die, but like the developers mentioned, we already know what happens on Scarface the movie. So if the game just followed the movie it wouldn't be very exciting. This branches out and is a good "what if" to what happens if Tony Montana didn't die.

    1. TMNT (arcade) --- I played this so darn much as a kid, and I like the NES rendition as well
    2. Star Wars: Episode I Racer (Dreamcast) --- I love futuristic racing games in general, and this is one of my favorites
    3. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (Gamecube) --- A big surprise to me in its time, a great brawler with tons of playable characters, missions and unlockables
    4. Transformers [2004] (PS2) --- The one NOT based on a movie. A fun 3rd person shooter with great graphics for the system, good challenge and solid gameplay. Fun ragdoll physics too.
    5. World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck (Genesis) --- Really fun Disney platformer and great 2 player co-op as well.

    6. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (Dreamcast) --- Well, it's half-licensed
    7. Kingdom Hearts (PS2) --- ditto above

I enjoy many of the Star Wars games, particularly Knights of the Old Republic I & II, The Force Unleashed, Shadows of the Empire and Rogue Squadron. I've also enjoyed Lord of the Rings: War in the North, which I've been playing recently.

Ok I'm going to add just one more(until the next time): 1 Vs 100 for 360. That was the best MMO game I've ever played. I really wish Microsoft would have kept it going for several more seasons.

Back in my kiddy days in the late 80's/early 90's it was TMNT and Ducktales. These days I don't really play many licensed games aside from Bond, X-men and Batman.

Just a few that come to mind:

    The Simpsons (arcade)
Lego Star Wars II (or really any Lego Insert-Franchise-Here game I've played)
    Goldeneye (N64 and Wii versions)
    Thor (DS version)
Turtles in Time (prefer the SNES version)
WCW/nWo/WWF - AKI wrestling games on the N64 (do these count?)
    X-Men (arcade)
Mickey Mouse World of Illusion (Genesis)

I'm sure there are plenty of others that I've enjoyed throughout the years.

Beetle Adventure Racing is probably my favourite licensed game.
I also really liked Castle of Illusion and Capcom's Marvel fighting games.

Beetle Adventure Racing is a very solid game. Excellent single player and a horribly underrated multiplayer. One of the few games I sort of regret selling (pretty sure it was to a DP member, but not positive...).
