First game(s) to feature pressure sensitive jumping?

Does anyone have an idea of what some of the earliest games were that featured pressure sensitive jumping? By pressure sensitive jumping, I mean that how high (or low) you jump is determined by how long you hold down the button. I can't recall if there were any 2600 era games with this ability.

Smurf on VCS had the double-press-stick-up jump. There's a game which uses the button for tha though, hell if I remember it now which one.

IMHO, Decathlon for 2600 (& whatever other systems it was ported to) sounds like it might qualify.

Probably have to look at arcades, sounds like something would have originated there, and then most probably by Atari.
