Default NEW CRISIS! How to Power an Intec Gamecube Monitor.

Now that the PSOne mod situation has been taken care of, I have moved on to the issue of WHAT DO I NEED TO POWER THIS RIDICULOUS/GREAT GAMECUBE MONITOR? Gamecube is hooked up as usual, AV out direct into the Intec screen. I'm missing the passthrough cable that allows the screen to piggyback the GC's power supply...is there a separate adapter I could use or do I need to track down said passthrough cable? MUCH OBLIGED x2.

Couldn't you just use another GC power brick?

No dice. I've got the one brick powering the GC; the only other output coming from the screen is a circular input for the passthrough cable/adapter (which allows for the GC brick to plug into the passthrough, which plugs into the GC power output).

Oh, so it doesn't just daisy chain like the PSone screen.
Well, hopefully it's a standard connector, so you can at least rig something up with an appropriate adapter.
It's probably better not to power it with the GC brick anyway, since it wasn't designed to power the extra hardware.

And the only places Ive found it seem to charge about as much as a gamecube itself for it.

Looks like a standard connector. You should be able to find an adapter pretty easily at surplus stores or thrift shops.

That's what I'm afraid of. One up on eBay for $17 shipped, was hoping to snag an AC adapter or something for less. PROBLEMS.
