Doesn't seem to be a bad game at all. The 'a' font graphic does look a little out of place though.

I made a new font for another project the other day, but now that you say that yes I'll probably include it as it's just better spacing for the letters, the O looks more like a zero, and just better letters. I'll do that I guess. But yeah it isn't bad, if I say so myself, it's pretty fun like the original but with a little more variety in the levels IMO. Thanks for checking it out, think you'd get this on cart?

Does/would the Arkanoid controller work for your game?

You bet, you can either use a Arkanoid paddle (Vaus, as it's called) or a normal "brick" controller and it'll automatically detect it. You might think the vaus is the way to go directly, which might be true for it to be harder, but the controller works VERY well for it actually too! By well, I mean actually just as fun as a paddle believe it or not. It worked better than I even expected.

I suppose I want one, knowing that it'll play with the paddle controller -- that's the ONLY way to play Kaboom!

Okay, cool. Just wanted to also say it'll be a while before we take money and even start ordering parts, so if you think you will remotely want a copy of this game just post.

Yes, the 2 player mode is just the 2nd player controlling the bomber in the 2nd player slot while the game difficulty increases like in single player. It's pretty fun to play with a friend, although beforehand you gotta lay down the rules as if your learns he can go back and forth as fast as hell, he'll just screw you. My friend killed me with that, heh. I recommend just having the P2 controlling the bomber via controller as the paddle gives you a way better chance to speed up and catch the bomb than with a controller which isn't as versatile.
