Default Examples of connecting box arts?

Earlier today I was thinking over my 'to buy' list of games and I recalled the two Star Ocean remakes for the PSP. One of the things I love about these remakes was how the box art for both could be connected to make a bigger picturer:

Which got me thinking about other examples of connecting box art. Surprising myself I pretty much drew a blank. The best I could come up with was the outer boxes of Pokemon: Heart Gold & Soul Silver. Which aren't really the same as above. Can anyone name any other examples?

The only other series I can think of that does something like that is the dot Hack series, their spines make a picture.

Thats pretty cool. Do they connect when shown from the spine as well since that's how they'll probably be stored?

Spines count! I don't think the spines of SO games connect.

I like the Ys one! If only the boxes were the same size. The FF remakes for PSP (I think I & II?) also connect, though not to the same extent of SO/Ys.

PSP seems to be a popular choice of platform for this!

Not really, unless the Japanese versions are different. The covers of Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II on the PSP use the same style, but they are different images, line drawings of characters from either game.

Ohh, it was only from a quick google img search the FF came up. Didn't look at them too closely.

This is kind of a random aside, but since we're talking about connecting Star Ocean covers, the art books based on Star Ocean: The Second Story also connect:

    Not games but still cool.

Capcom's PSP games have connecting spines. I don't know how many were in the "series" but each game's spine has a character from it under a segment of a silver arc. Line up the silver arc and you'll see the full image. At least, that's how I think it works. I only have the two Mega Man releases, but I've seen the same motif on their other PSP releases.
