Default Snes Hagane box and manual

Picked up a Hagane box and manual the other day. Game tends to command a high price. Debating on either trading these away for other rare/hard to find snes boxes/manuals I need or to try and find a loose cart. Box is in fair shape. Manual is in better shape. Wondering what these would be worth?

Even in that shape, it's probably worth $100+. I can't believe how this game continues to turn up and maintains it's high price. Very high demand for this apparently.

Well it WAS rental only, so I can see why it's so damn rare to find a box, let alone a box AND a manual.

I'd sell these in favor of Japanese. Save massively for a game with minimal translation anyway.

I really don't think this game was rental only. You used to be able to find it sealed online in the 90s from multiple places. I think people just started getting into the habit of saying games are rental only when they start to climb in price with absolutely no proof.

This is one of those games I kick myself over whenever I see it. I used to work in a Gamestop that is right next door to a Blockbuster Video. I would go in there to get refreshments and I remember seeing this game for sale with the box and everything. They wanted $24.99 and I thought it might be a little high because the box was a little dinged up and had some stickers on it. I wasn't aware at the time that it was stupidly hard to find so I passed on it. Needless to say I've been on the hunt for it ever since.

The kicking from that isn't nearly as bad as the time I had a CIB Magical Chase for $19.99 IN MY HAND and passed on but it's definitely in my top 10 dumbest moments of game buying for sure.

As for a value, I'd say jonebone has the right price figured up in that condition. Maybe a little more than that?

Fortunately I was able to trade for a complete copy with a better box and manual than the ones shown in the pics(traded a complete Suikoden 1 and 2 for it) Its a great game but I don't think its worth what the recent crazy ebay prices its been getting. I used to see it all the time 9-10 years ago at 2 different Mom n Pop video rental/used games stores.
