Default Donkey Kong Country: Player's Choice Million Seller Variant?

So I was about to put this on eBay, when I realized I've never seen a copy of Donkey Kong Country with an "E for everyone" rating, OR a Million seller ribbon on the label.

Is this any more expensive than a normal cart? I know some people are crazy about certain variants.

No, I've seen these before and don't think they're very rare.

Ah, ok then. Are any SNES variants actually worth any more than normal? I know Super Mario World has something like 5 labels.

I think the only real label variant of note, (that seriously affects the price), is the two variants of Super Copa. There is a version from Playtronic and there is another from ASC. The labels are completely different. This is due to one game being in Portuguese vs. Spanish. It seems like the Brazilian version is harder to find, but maybe that is just me.

As far as other label variants go, I can think of too many SNES games where that really comes into play in terms of price. If anything, it seems like some people might pay slightly less to have a Million Seller version of Super Metroid or Link to the Past, because they're not the "original" versions.

There's an eBay listing for $14.95 that no one bought. It seems to be worth about as much as the regular edition.
    In Heaven, everything is fine.

Player's Choice A Link to the Past does have completely different cover art, though. Might be worth it to some collectors.

At least among sealed collector's, Player's Choice variants are worth far less in general than the "black label" or original release version. Not sure how variant collectors perceive the value.

Not the case with Link to the Past, they sell for about the same amount. I think that due to the Player's Choice having a different cover and being about 3-4x rarer (last I checked on Ebay the ratio was 3 to 1 in favor of the older print)

As far as cart and CIB prices, Player's Choice variants of games tend to reduce the price by 5-20%. Of course, that isn't much at all, really...

As for Super Copa...the Playtronic version (Brazilian release) is quite a bit more common than the ASC version (North American release). It's also not in as much demand...the Brazilian release of Super Copa, therefore, tends to fetch about $50 loose, while the US release (with the infinitely more awesome ball-kicking artwork) can get $125-$150+.

Link to the Past has an NTSC French variant. Not too many of those outside Canada I'm sure. But a limited audience elsewhere also...
