    Default T.V. Won't Recognize Genesis?

Ok So I Just Went To Go Put Hard Drivin' In My Second Generation Genesis And Switched To The Right Channel And The T.V. Didn't Even Act Like The Genesis Was On Because It Still Said NO SIGNAL Then I Switched To Another Channel And Still Nothing (I Use A/V Chords BTW) So I Turned My TV Off And On (Its' A VIZIO BTW) But Still Nothing Also I Know My Genesis Isn't Broke Because I Cleaned It Last Night And Played Hard Drivin' And About 10 Or More Games So I Have No Idea What Is Wrong
    Any Help Will Be Appreciated,
    KIRBZ

Are you absolutely sure you have the correct input selected (try them all) and that the cables are tightly connected? Also, does the power light on the Genesis come on?

This may come as a surprise but the Genesis may not be working at all.

Try blowing into the cartridge then inserting it.
I fix things. You name it, I'll work on it. Want something modded? Recapped?

Do other devices display with that input and are you using a direct connection?

Could very well be that the TV won't accept the resolution the Genesis outputs. If that is the case I'd anticipate NES, SNES and Saturns to not work as well.

No Because I've Used It On The Same TV Before And My NES Works On It But I Use R/F With It

That would be a rather odd design choice considering that a composite input that does not accept 240p would be pretty useless.

Try wiggling the cable, perhaps something is loose.

Yep but it matches the symptoms and the more usual suspects seem to have been ruled out.

Since nothing now works with that input and the genesis did at least once in the past, I suspect either a faulty TV input, or an incredibly obtuse user error. You wouldn't by any chance have another composite input would you?
