can I expect to get anything out of a virtual boy with one screen not working? With controller, visor and stand (stand taped).

Possibly but if you're looking to maximize the amount of money you can make, split it up. The visor and eyeshade can get you $20+ easy. I've sold stands over the years for $30+ (left open to offers and that's the price that was offered to me to sell). Controllers I'm not sure of since they seem to be more common to come across loose than the other parts.

I'd be mildly interested in the whole smash depending on what you're asking. I'm trying to build up my knowledge of VB diagnosis and repair.
