I have 6 Sega Brand Genesis 6 button Pad..
So I won't be loosing out Money Wise
In my experience, terrible. I acquired two in a lot recently and neither of them work. Buttons pop out, voltages are wrong (right pauses the game, B moves right, etc). I've also had them in the past and experienced similar problems. Poorly made Chinese knock-offs.
Just spend the extra $10 and get an official six-button, or if you want to splurge, buy an authentic SJ-6000. If you're a tad patient, you can usually find a six-button for less through an auction.
Edit: Seen the post above. Just avoid the knockoff unless you have money to burn.
I think you'd be better off looking for a name-brand aftermarket controller. Those Honk Kong generics are crap IMO.
Those controllers are beyond horrible. The cords are about a foot long, the buttons are mushy and don't respond well, and the connectors don't go into the system well. I bought some to tear apart and make sticks out of them but the cords are so short they're useless.
I've always had issues with third party controllers. Don't cheap out, go get an official one.
Really Guys, did you read, I have 6 Genesis 6 Button Controller
I'm just going to buy it and see my self, I won't loose out on Money
There is a current thread about those controllers over at Sega-16. Basically, everyone says they are cheap. Notice the dimple in the plastic below the "start" button. Not a good sign.
Yeah, we read that you are thinking about picking up these shitty-ass controllers. WE are advising against it, and you don't seem to care. Next time just buy 'em and don't ask if you don't care what anyone has to say.
Also, if you spend money on them and they're useless crap (which they are), then you'll "loose" money.
Well there from a US seller
If there crap, I didn't spend much
Already have alot of 6 buttons Pad like the SG ProPad 6 ..thanks for the info
He wasn't the thread starter at Sega-16, but this text: "How good are these?? I think it is safe to say that MarioMania on this forum is one and the same with KnightWarrior on the Sega-16 forums.
then why waste $5 on one, just read the reviews? What you gonna do if you don't like it, sell it on ebay to another unsuspecting gamer?
